More info: http://www.europeanbugin.com/
Wowh! What a time we had! Open house is over, the BBT convoy is over and Bad Camberg is over…. but the memories do stay, forever… for sure one of our better editions, even it was slightly smaller like last one….
The cruize was featured already Friday on our blog, the open house saturday and Sunday, full picture reports for that on http://convoy.bbt4vw.com/ later this week…
I drove the 1952 convertible over and couldn’t resist this pic… the middle car is me!!!!
and only a couple of hours later, our vert was sitting on the holy grounds…
There was more to see than we could capture… the Hebmuller of Claus missing is always nice to look at!
or an original Type 34 convertible…. now how rare is that?
Yanto, from Indonesian terror Garage fame brought out one of his three Hebmullers, and had an original early 50’s Kamei airdam mounted on it for the occasion!
Bjorn, the son of Edwin, was brave on the laddertruck… apples don’t fall wide of their tree’s…
and then our laddertruck had the honor to get captured for several magazines… really well deserved as it’s a real special car!
a small overview from the “holy grounds”
very nice to see the Belgian coachbuild ice cream truck being back on the road, this truck is so known in Belgium! Cangrats to Raoul for this, nice job my friend!
Line up to take pictures from the laddertruck was huge… laddertruck was very busy, nice to see….
Michaël Lottermann, brother of the original founder of the Bad Camberg meeting, is now the living heart of the Bad Camberg show.
Bad Camberg is also a very pretty old German town…
The mayor of Bad Camberg received a special frame for the World Wide Beetle Day from the Brazilian organizer. The world-wide Beetle day was founded here in Bad Camberg exactly 20 years ago… we should promote the thing a little bit one day and remember all and everybody to drive your beetle that day, that’s what its all about…
Left from the mayor Marcus Lottermann, right is Biggy and MIchaël lottermann…
Two happy fellows, with a special edition event badge that is only granted to special guests.
Rick Spohn, president of the Golden Gate chapter of the Vintage Volkswagen club of America and yours truly….
and this with BBT friend of the house Yanto, from Indonesian Terror Garage fame…
Too much talk, too less pictures, but on the way back we saw Etienne again, a very good friend, who we, at BBT, helped to make his Hebmuller drive. The only Saxomatic Hebmuller in the world, with a souped up 25hp engine…Unfortunatly Etienne is disabled, but seeing him on the freeway with his Hebmuller was very very important to me…
and so a magic show weekend came to an end…again…
We will be back in 4 years from now, but first we have to clean the mess from my desk!
BBT Patrick start to prepare our cars for our cruise to Bad Camberg… remember June 18 is BBT Open house, June 19 at 9.00am sharp we do leave for a crazy cruise again to Bad Camberg, mother of all vintage VW shows!
We started with the Blue 1949 split window beetle first, this car was sold brand new (in 1949) in our hometown of Antwerp! what a history…
This car took part in all of our cruises, and proudly carry all tour badges! this year will come an extra to it! Do You want a drivers badge too? You only can EARN this badge by driving in our convoy… all information and registration on http://convoy.bbt4vw.com/
