Last weekend we spend some marvelous times with our 1952 convertible in Lavenham England for a gathering of vintage Volkswagens set up by The Historic VW club of Great Brittain.
We had a lovely time besides the heavy rain on Saturday afternoon… these pictures will give You a small taste of a very wonderful and very British weekend!
The Lavenham church is a real landmark! This weekend it was like a VW land mark!
The setting was astonishing… unbelievable!

The KG display was even more beautiful, in real English garden around a pond… we fully enjoyed!

Sunday morning was nice and we prepped our 52 vert for the tour… we stayed in this lovely Bed & Breakfast… Simon and Angela took really good care and the breakfast was marvelous!!!! hmmmm..:)
Suffolk is a real nice piece of Britain! We enjoyed the tour fully!
We wouldn’t mind this little country home at all! Car fits perfectly, doesn’t it?
Or shall we go for that fancy dinner in the great house at the Market Place downtown???? …

Last Sunday, June 19th the official presentation of the KGCN autumn tour 2016 took place at Domein de Renesse in Malle, Belgium. In presence of press people and local prominence the partners were presented and the rally plate was revealed.
On September 4th, about 50 Karmann Ghia’s will meet at the BBT store and then cruise through the Antwerp Campine region. Around noon there will be a stop on the lawn before this magnificent castle. The cars will be expected and shown for free from 12 am till 1 pm.

Feb 1952 splittie with a drooling patina… car had some welding done, and might need some more, all depends what kind of standard you’re after????
The car is mainly complete with loads of good bits, correct front axle, correct fully crash gearbox and last but not least the matching numbers all original 25 hp engine from this car… unbelievable after all those years!
Enjoy the pictures, there is some extra parts not in the pictures yet, like the driver side window winder mechanism, door panel etc etc… off course they do come along!
not bad huh? I just love it, they don’t come cheap anymore, but at least we have one available…
